GANTRY FEST CANCELLED; MUSIC STILL GOES ON!

RE: GANTRY PARK FALL FEST ON SATURDAY, 10/17 Due to unfortunate weather circumstances the Gantry Plaza State Park Fall Festival has been cancelled, but AM&A has moved the live music to Shillelagh Tavern in Astoria, with an afterparty to boot! A message from AM&A: For all those who were eagerly anticipating AM&A's Harvest Festival at the Gantries this Saturday we have a very important anouncement to make. Due to unfavorable weather conditions we will NOT be able to host our festival outdoors as we originally planned. Instead we will be hosting it at our new favorite venue Shillelagh Tavern on 48th St and 30th Ave (47-22 30th Ave). The festivities begin at 2pm and continue throughout the evening with some of Astoria's finest in groundbreaking diversity. 2p-Os Clavelitos 3p-Plasma 4p- Stone Robot 5p- The Jamies We are especially pleased to feature Jamie Stellini and her band The Jamies as a highlighted local artist who has been featured in the Daily News  for working on her weekly song project, writing and recording one song every week for a year. We will have live art and prints available from some of the area's most abstract artists, including Ben Louria, Chris Hingle, Chris Riggs, and Erin, as well as BBQ by Trainwreck Washington.
