On Saturday, July 24th thousands of residents from Queens and beyond will descend upon Astoria Park for the third annual Astoria Music and Arts Festival, Astoria Music Now!
With 3 stages and 29 of the best local bands from Astoria and the surrounding areas, including a homecoming performance from Astoria's very own punk pioneers, Kraut, and a host of other treats like: live graffiti from 5 Pointz Artists, celebrity comedians, art galleries, free yoga, fine goods from local vendors, yummy food and basically, everything you could possibly want out of a for-real style music festival, I have no qualms in proclaiming that this will be the best thing to happen to Queens since Eddie Murphy released Coming to America.
