Mail Order Bride Music Video

Astoria Music and Arts in partnership with Reel Creative Studios are shooting a music video for the song "Mail Order Bride" by Bliminal. On Sunday March 6th we are gathering early at Shillelagh Tavern for shots of the band playing on stage with crowd reactions and camaraderie (this means DRINKING).This is a great opportunity for aspiring actors, make up artist's, and production enthusiast to work on an actual music video. Reel Creative Studios is planning to use this as one for their featured pieces to show their future clients. The Countdown To AMN! 4

The Spring is nearly upon us and there is music and art in the air. Here at AM&A we are looking forward to the warm months and the bevy of shows that will be coming with them. As we did last year we are going to hold outdoor shows at Athens Square Park on 30th ave and 30th st and we will be participating in the annual Make Music New York city wide festival. We are also going to continue put on shows at Shillelagh Tavern, The Astoria Brewhouse,The Quays Pub, Hell Gate Social,and Rapture Lounge along with a special fund raiser at the Flux Factory.This is all leading up to our fourth annual ASTORIA MUSIC NOW! festival at the end of August in Astoria Park. 

There is a place for everyone in the AM&A family, as always we welcome all artists, musicians, poets, fans and participants of any kind to participate in the enlightening of our neighbourhood and lives! The time is now to get involved with our community based organization. We are always open to new ideas and love to see the fruition of creativity.

- For two dollars Leah Evans and Edward Delapine will call a person of you're choosing and tell them how well you're doing and all of the awesome things your accomplishing (even if we don't know you). This call can go out to: exes, parents, grandparents, teachers you hated... ETC.
- For two dollars Weinman or Coyne will break up with a significant other for you... OR SOMEONE ELSE.
- For a dollar Leah and Coyne will shower you with compliments for 30 seconds.
- For fifty cents Leah and Coyne will draw you a beautiful picture of how they see you. For a dollar they won't make it AS trashy.
